Toshiba released at IFA 2011 its new Android-based tablet called AT200 which is set to be slimmer than the iPad 2 with its about 7.7mm thick and a weigh of only 558g. With a standard 10.1-inch touchscreen for most of Android tablets,  the AT200 will have a sharp resolution of 1280×800 pixels, powered by dual core 1.2GHz processor with the popular Nvidia Tegra 2 chip.
Toshiba AT 200 slate is even thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab, being the world’s slimmest and thinnest Honeycomb slate to be hitting the market. Other included specs mention about a standard 5MP camera on the back mixed with a secondary 2MP frontal one for video calls. Important ports are also present: microSD, micro-USB plus compatibility with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Stylish, elegant and ultra portable, the tablet will provide around 8 hours of video consumption. Toshiba will launch the AT200 slate sometime in Q4 with no pricing infos provided.
