In addition to Nikon J1, Nikon brand for series 1, there is also a Nikon V1 with more advanced features. Both cameras Nikon  J1 and V1 will be available in the U.S. from October 20 – J1 kit (including lens 10-30mm) at a price of U.S. $ 649.95, while the Nikon V1 kit (with color-matched lens zoom standards) price of U.S. $ 899.95.

Nikon J1, is mirrorless cameras from Nikon's brand new series features a compact with Hybrid autofocus (phase detection combining and contrast detection AF) which allows the camera to take pictures up to 10 frames-per-second with autofocus.
